An update on our Michael:</font></font></p><font id="el-1362067039299-458" color="#000000" size="3" face="Times New Roman">
</font><p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;" id="el-1362067039299-459" class="MsoNormal"><font id="el-1362067039299-460" color="#000000"><font id="el-1362067039299-461" size="3">Mikey is in 3</font><sup id="el-1362067039299-462"><font id="el-1362067039299-463" size="2">rd</font></sup><font id="el-1362067039299-464" size="3"> grade at Wendell<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" id="el-1362067039299-465"> </span>Watson Elem. in Lakeland. He is in a regular
classroom with peers his own age who are considered “typicalâ€Â.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" id="el-1362067039299-466"> </span></font><font id="el-1362067039300-467" size="3">He works on curriculum that has been modified
for him. He has an assigned paraprofessional .</font></font></p><font id="el-1362067039300-468" color="#000000" size="3" face="Times New Roman">
</font><p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;" id="el-1362067039300-469" class="MsoNormal"><font id="el-1362067039300-470" color="#000000" size="3">We get so much positive feedback from parents of children in
his class. They appreciate having Michael in their child’s classroom. We are
building a community of compassionate, tolerant and independent thinkers who
see beyond a disability and value their unique friendship with Michael.</font></p><font id="el-1362067039300-471" color="#000000" size="3" face="Times New Roman">
</font><p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;" id="el-1362067039300-472" class="MsoNormal"><font id="el-1362067039300-473" color="#000000" size="3">Michael is on this journey of inclusion due to the direct
impact that Central Florida Autism Institute has made on our lives. Providing a
place to learn and build relationships with other parents who have forged this path
before us has taught us to think beyond limitations and provide Michael with
more opportunities. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" id="el-1362067039300-474"> </span>I want to see more
parents reached and a bigger impact made for kids like Mikey. <br id="el-1362067039300-475">

Walk/5K & Family Fun Day will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 7:00
AM – 2:00 PM at Anchor Park on beautiful Lake Hollingsworth across from Florida
Southern College in Lakeland. Some will be participating in the 5K which begins
at 7 am and others <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;" id="el-1362067039301-484"> </span>will be participating
in the walk and family activities which begin at 9 am. You may register online
